A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in Auckland.

The 31-year-old victim was initially in a critical condition and is undergoing surgery at Auckland City Hospital.
Three people - two men and a woman are helping police with inquiries.
Police are not seeking anyone else as part of their inquiries.
Police are currently at the scene where a scene examination is taking place.
