A nearly 100-year-old house in north Taranaki has burned to the ground.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said 10 fire crews from New Plymouth and Waitara were sent to battle the blaze at Brixton about midday.
The house was well alight when crews arrived.
There were no reports of injuries.
