A man who was critically injured in a single-car crash in Whangarei earlier today has died in hospital.

Police said the car rolled and hit a fence on Keyte Street just before 10.30am.
The man was taken to Whangarei Hospital, but he died late this afternoon.
Two other people who were in the car had minor injuries.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
