The 25-year-old was reported missing at 3.17pm yesterday.
Senior Sergeant Peter Payne said the Police Maritime Unit has finished searching the island's shoreline, and the dive squad is now searching the surrounding area.
He said the weather is good, with calm seas and light wind.
