Signs warning people to stay out of the water on part of Lake Taupō are still up, three days after a wastewater spill.

A 'fat-berg', a clump of wet wipes and fat, blocked a drain and caused wastewater to spill into the lake at Two Mile Bay on Sunday night.
The council has been testing the water daily, and said yesterday's samples showed there are still high bacteria counts near the outlet.
More samples will be taken today, with the results coming back on Friday.
Last week, part of Acacia Bay was off-limits after wastewater got into the lake through a stormwater outlet due to human error.
In December there was algal bloom prompting health warnings at six different sites.
Earlier this week, Destination Great Lakes Taupō chair Ray Salter said the two recent wastewater spills were one-offs, and there was no sign they would affect tourism.
There were some concerns about the algae before Christmas but it had since dispersed, he said.
