Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and partner Clarke Gayford have spoken at length with journalists after announcing she is expecting a child in June.

Because you'll be as busy as they are, here are a few highlights from that conversation today:
Ardern: "I am not the first woman to multi-task, I'm not the first woman to work and have a baby, there are many women who have done this before. I sympathise with these women, as well as all of those women who have suffered morning sickness."
Ardern: "I absolutely accept it's an area of interest but this will not be the only milestone this year ... this will just be another milestone of this government."
Ardern said it was "100 percent a surprise" as they had been told they would "need some help".
When asked if the public would see Ardern with a baby on her hip during question time: "No, because Trevor Mallard would grab it".
The couple, when asked if marriage was now on the cards: Ardern: "Clarke?" Gayford: "Wow". He went on to say they were doing things in reverse - buying a house, then having a baby and that "we'll see".
He said he liked the idea that they had done everything in reverse, including buying a house together and now having a baby.
"We'll see," Mr Gayford said.
Ardern when asked about the timing of the announcement: "There is only so long you can go on pretending you've been eating too many Christmas pies".
