The number of jobs being advertised online continues to grow, according to the Department of Labour.
Main internet job sites are monitored by the department.
In its latest survey, the total number of vacancies advertised rose by 9.4% in the three months to the end of June, and by a total of 36.9% since June 2009.
The department says the results indicate employment prospects in the economy are continuing to improve and the labour market is strengthening.
Employment Minister Paula Bennett says she is particularly pleased to see strong and consistent growth in the number of skilled jobs being advertised.
