Two products unsafe - Consumer New Zealand

3:05 pm on 23 July 2010

Two products are being taken off shelves because they are unsafe, says Consumer New Zealand.

It says a Gregg's Rich Steak Sauce may contain small metal fragments and should not be eaten.

The steak sauce has been sold in North Island supermarkets and small retail stores.

The other recall is of a dry powder fire extinguisher made by Chubb, Quell and Flameguard.

Consumer New Zealand says it does not release a sufficiently steady stream of powder.
