A woman seen giving away puppies in Palmerston North has been eliminated from a police investigation into the murder of Feilding farmer Scott Guy.
The woman had been seen on Wednesday trying to give away chocolate-coloured Labradors puppies, similar to those stolen from Mr Guy's farm, in the carpark of The Warehouse on Pioneer Highway.
Police say those puppies turned out not to be Labradors.
They are still seeking information about the three puppies missing from Mr Guy's farm and are trying to identify the drivers of two vehicles seen in the Aorangi Rd area on the morning of his death.
