A fire investigator will this morning visit the scene of an overnight blaze in Hamilton, which ripped through a strip club.

Firefighters from around the Waikato were called to battle the blaze at the two-storey Calendar Girls building on Victoria Street and a nearby pub.
The alarm was raised shortly after midnight and at its height, 36 firefighters were at the scene.
The fire was brought under control after several hours, but one crew was still monitoring the scene and dampening hot spots.
