A 31-year-old Nelson man who was injured in a fight with his brother has died in Wellington hospital.
The man's brother, aged 34, has been charged with wounding with intent to injure. The accused man's name is suppressed.
Nelson police say the 31-year-old man was taken to Nelson hospital on 16 January after a fight outside his Atawhai home.
He was transferred to Wellington Hospital where his condition deteriorated at the weekend. He died on Sunday.
