Concern for missing Balclutha man

5:09 pm on 30 January 2009

Police in South Otago are appealing for any information about a Balclutha man who has been missing for two days.

Jason Noel Davey, 38, was last seen withdrawing money from a cash machine in Balclutha on Wednesday morning after dropping his two children off at pre-school.

Acting Sergeant Craig Dinnisen says it is not like Mr Davey to disappear under these circumstances.

Police say Mr Davey is of European descent and about 1.65 metres tall. He was last seen wearing knee-length cut off jeans with frayed edges and a blue or grey jersey with a dark blue stripe on the front.
