Two teenagers charged with arson in relation to a fatal house fire in Pukekohe are now expected to face murder or manslaughter charges.
Lynette Chapman, 49, was killed in the fire last month that gutted the two-storey home south of Auckland.
A 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy are due to re-appear in the Pukekohe Youth Court on Thursday.
Detective Inspector Mark Gutry said police will be seek another remand for the teenagers while officers consider what charges they will face.
He said those charges are likely be murder or manslaughter.
