A cyclist is in a stable condition in intensive care in Christchurch Hospital following a crash during a charity bicycle ride in Canterbury.
Police say the woman, 45, was among 500 competitors in The Canterbury Charity Bike Ride between Cust and Rangiora.
They say it appears she collided with another cyclist.
