A rubbish collector in Dunedin was shot in the arm with either an air rifle or pistol on Thursday night.
He was emptying rubbish bins at Bayfield Park at 11pm.
He received a graze to his right arm and was treated at the scene by St John Ambulance.
Police say a white four-door car was seen in the area and left soon afterwards. Two males and a female were in the car.
