A man who left a mental health institution in South Auckland on Thursday has been found.
Matiu Whiu, 22, walked away from his residence in Flatbush at about 9pm, breaching a court order.
Police had described him as extremely dangerous.
The trust says Mr Whiu had travelled to Kaikohe to visit his mother.
