A car overturned across the southbound lanes in the Ngauranga Gorge in Wellington on Tuesday morning.
The white sedan flipped onto its roof and blocked all three lanes, though the driver received only minor injuries.
The accident caused lengthy delays for motorists for a time, but traffic was flowing freely again by 8.30am.
