The mother of a 14-year-old Waikato girl is being charged after the teenager was caught driving her younger siblings to school.
The police say the girl was stopped at a checkpoint, after she had apparently just dropped her siblings off.
The girl has been referred to Youth Aid and her mother has been charged with aiding and abetting an unlicensed driver to drive. The maximum fine for the offence is $400.
The incident comes less than a month after the police caught a 13-year-old boy they say was speeding while his father slept in the passenger seat.
