The police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash that closed part of State Highway 16 in Auckland on Saturday morning.
One person died at the scene at the intersection of Mamari Road and Brigham Creek road at Whenuapai.
Staff at the Waitemata serious crash unit want to speak to anyone who saw the crash.
