A man has died after the truck and trailer he was driving went over a cliff into Lake Taupo.
The incident occured on State Highway 1, in Ohoumahanga, about 11.30am on Monday.
Traffic has been reduced to one lane north of Bulli Point. Police expect to be at the scene for some time.
