The operator of a Greymouth climbing wall says it is devastated an elderly woman has died as a result of injuries suffered when she fell off the wall.
Gina Bossleman, 74, was climbing the wall with her husband holding the support ropes and fell seven metres.
She suffered pelvic injuries during the fall in early April. She was taken to Christchurch hospital and died three weeks later.
