Firefighters have battled a blaze in a four storey building in St Mary's Bay in Auckland.
Fire crews arrived at the Bank Direct Centre in College Hill Rd about 3am on Wednesday to find the building well alight.
The Fire Service advised motorists to avoid the area on Wednesday morning, though there are no official road closures.
