Police have set up an email address for people wanting to report anything about a fatal siege in Christchurch on Sunday night.
Shayne Sime, 42, who was confined to a wheelchair, fired dozens of shotgun pellets and bullets from his house in Wadhurst Place in the suburb of Burnside, before being shot dead by police.
A police officer and civilian wounded by the gunman are recovering.
Police have discovered damage to a kingergarten and houses 500 metres away and believe the bullets may have travelled up to 7km.
