Two men are under arrest after a number of bank robberies in Waikato in the last few weeks.
The arrests followed an attempt by a man who presented a note demanding money to a teller at the Westpac branch .
The two men, aged 30 and 17, each face four charges of demanding with menaces.
The charges relate to an attempted robbery in Morrinsville on Tuesday afternoon and another in Cambridge earlier in the day.
Banks in Hamilton East and Dinsdale in Hamilton were robbed last month.
