A man is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, following a stabbing in the Rangitikei district.
The police say the man, 29, who is from Wanganui, was arrested after a stabbing outside a hotel in Marton at about 8pm on Wednesday.
He is charged with threatening to kill and wounding with intent.
A man, 50, was stabbed in the abdomen following an argument. He's in Wanganui hospital but the wound is not thought to be serious.
