An elderly woman is missing from a rest home near Helensville after taking a bus into Auckland.
Jeanette Alder, 79, left the Parakai rest home on Wednesday morning and is believed to have caught a Ritchies bus into the city.
She is descibed as about 1.6 metres tall, European and of solid build and was wearing a red jacket with blue pants.
Police urgently want to find her or anyone who has seen Ms Alder.
