Three people charged with assaulting a man who later died have reappeared in the Christchurch District Court on Tuesday.
Timothy Constable, 24, died after being stabbed early on Friday outside a house in Bishopdale.
About a dozen police officers were in attendance as Adam Gempton, 20, Levi Coombs, 17, and Steven Bright, 25, appeared in court. All are charged with assault.
They will next appear on 25 August. One was remanded in custody and the other two were again released on bail.
