The police dive squad has joined a search for a Rotorua woman whose car was found abandoned at Lake Tikitapu, also known as the Blue Lake, on Monday night.
The squad was called in at midday on Tuesday, after a preliminary search of the area near the vehicle by local divers.
A land search is also continuing.
