Police in Hamilton are expected to reveal more on Monday about the death of an 18-year-old man stabbed in the city more than a week ago.
The man, whose name is yet to be released, was caught up in an altercation involving several people on 6 August and died later in Waikato Hospital.
A post-mortem was held on Saturday and those results are expected this week.
He was one of two people to sustain stab wounds. The other man is recovering from his injuries.
The matter has been referred to the coroner.
