Police have charged a man with the arson of a drug lab in South Auckland.
Officers found the clandestine P lab while carrying out a search warrant on a rural property in Takanini last week.
The scene was guarded overnight but a fire was deliberately lit at about 6am.
A woman has already been charged with being a party to arson.
On Tuesday, a man, 39, was charged with the arson itself.
He is due to appear in the Papakura District Court and police are not ruling out further charges.
As the P lab, police say they also found five stolen vehicles and a quantity of stolen property at the property.
