A report commissioned by the Dunedin City Council has found visitors to Dunedin want hangi - not haggis.
Waatea News reports more than a third of tourists visiting the city wanted more Maori cultural experiences including traditional kai, a Maori art centre and guides to the landscape.
The council's economic development unit and Tourism Dunedin will work with Maori tourism operators and groups to address demand.
