A Porirua school has suspended a group of students who invaded another college with a weapon last week.
About 20 Mana College boys went to Bishop Viard College armed with a baton and started a fight at lunchtime last Wednesday.
The Board of Trustees of Mana College has suspended six of the students until they go before a formal disciplinary hearing.
The school says it is still considering punishments for the other students.
