Hamilton police have charged a stuntman for riding his motorcycle over the arches of the Fairfield Bridge.
They say such activities carried out by professionals involve logistics and a plan to minimize risks, but in this case footage shows vehicles driving across the bridge when the motorcycle was on the arches, as well as people walking on the footpath beneath.
They say the stunt rider has been interviewed this week and charged with dangerous driving.
Police say if the stuntman had worked with the appropriate agencies agreement could have been reached.
