Police in Picton are investigating the death of a man after an apparent boating accident in Queen Charlotte Sound.
The man, 29, was found in the water, about 1km from Furneaux Lodge, at 6.30pm on Monday during a helicopter search.
An inflatable dinghy was earlier found on the shore near Punga Cove.
