A man will appear in Palmerston North District Court on Tuesday charged with robbing the same bank twice.
He was initially accused of robbing an ANZ bank near the city centre on Monday morning.
He has now been charged with robbing the same bank 12 days ago.
On both occasions, the same three employees were confronted by a man with a rifle.
Police have recovered a firearm, cash and a stolen car.
The accused, 25, faces two charges of aggravated robbery.
