The police in Waikato have launched a homicide investigation after the death of a 22-month old girl.
Hail-Sage McClutchie was taken to hospital from Morrinsville after sustaining serious injuries last week, and later died.
The police say expert medical advice indicates the young girl suffered injuries of a non-accidental nature and they have now launched a homicide investigation.
