Police fear for the safety of a man who was living aboard a yacht in Picton Harbour, who has not been seen for a week.
John Purdy, 56, was last seen on the night of 28 October at two bars in the town.
His dinghy was found by the Coastguard the following morning.
Police say the Picton foreshore has been searched without success and the national dive squad has been called in to assist.
