A 4.5 magnitude earthquake has shaken the Marlborough region.
The quake was felt in Nelson and Buller at 3.52pm on Wednesday.
GNS Science says it was centred 30km south of St Arnaud and 40km southeast of Murchison, at a depth of 90km.
