A woman hit by a bus in central Wellington on Monday has suffered moderate injuries.
The woman, 37, was crossing Dixon Street to Cuba Mall when she was hit by a trolley bus.
The police say she was taken by ambulance to Wellington Hospital for observation.
The accident is the third occasion in the last four weeks that a pedestrian has been hit by a bus in the Wellington region.
On Friday, a 42-year-old woman was killed by a bus in the suburb of Brooklyn, and on Labour Day a woman died in Porirua when she fell under a bus.
