The body of a missing kayaker from Lake Wakatipu was recovered on Thursday.
Gellert Mudra, 41, was reported missing on Friday after his kayak was found floating on the lake, with its paddle and lifejacket inside.
More than 50 search and rescue volunteers were helped by the Police Dive Squad, but searches failed to find him until Thursday.
Mr Mudra, from Hungary, had been living in Queenstown with his wife for the past 18 months.
