Three Lower Hutt women fighting eviction from their Housing New Zealand homes are trying for a second time to have their case heard in the Court of Appeal.
Housing New Zealand issued 90-day eviction notices to the three Farmer Cr households in the suburb of Pomare in March.
This followed allegations that gang intimidation had forced a woman and her two children to leave the neighbourhood.
Earlier this month, the women were refused permission to take their case to the Court of Appeal, but were told they could still make a special application to be heard in that court.
Housing New Zealand says it was told on Wednesday that the application had been filed, but a date has not been set for a hearing that will determine whether the court accepts it.
