Motorists can expect delays on a popular route to Auckland's airport because of roadworks, says the city council.
It says contractors are carrying out footpath works on Pah Road and Queenstown Road - a popular route for motorists travelling between downtown and the airport.
People are being advised to take an alternative route or to expect delays.
Alternative routes include the Dominion Road, Sandringham Road and
Hillsborough Road on-ramps to State Highway 20.
The council expects the situation to ease slightly towards the end of the week.
