A crash at Horokiwi on State Highway 2 north of Wellington brought down a power pole stopping traffic in both directions for more than an hour on Sunday.
Inspector Anaru George from the police in Wellington says nobody in the vehicle involved was injured.
He says a van crashed into a powerpole and brought it down which put live wires across both north and south bound lanes.
