Police are asking drivers in the South Island to report any sign of a car belonging to a Christchurch man who has not been seen since Wednesday night.
Daniel Van Petegem, who is 35, was supposed to travel to Christchurch from Queenstown on Thursday, but has not turned up.
He is travelling in a blue Nissan March hatchback.
Mr Van Petegem was last seen in Queenstown at 10pm on Wednesday.
