The police have made their second arrest in two weeks in connection with a number of thefts at Waikato Hospital last year.
A member of the public was arrested after officers found a hospital swipe card and a set of keys at his home.
A security guard aged 20, who worked for the hospital, was charged last week after he admitted stealing a number of cell phones there.
He was to appear in the Huntly District Court on Tuesday.
Waikato District Health Board says it expects further arrests to be made.
