Tauranga City Council says the city's water supply is back to normal, with no further problems at the Joyce Road plant overnight.
Residents were asked to conserve water on Monday night after an electrical fault reduced the city to only one operational water processing plant.
The council says all the main reservoirs are now 80% full again and a potential crisis has been averted.
