A lobby group from a small community in Northland is to present a petition to Parliament asking the Government to exclude it from Auckland's proposed super-city boundaries.
Wellsford Community Group chairperson, John Turner, says it wants its northern boundary moved, to become a part of Kaipara.
He says the group wants Parliament to allow submissions regarding the northern boundary to be made to the Local Government Select Committee.
Mr Turner says the majority of residents in Wellsford have never been consulted about the issue.
A similar group from Warkworth will join the Wellsford residents in presenting a petition to Parliament on Wednesday.
