Firefighters have contained a scrub fire in Dome Valley north of Warkworth, allowing traffic along State Highway One again.
The Fire Service was called to the blaze, which closed a section of the highway, at about 1.30pm on Sunday.
About 45 firefighters are still at the scene, damping down hot spots.
Police say one lane in each direction is now open, but drivers should move cautiously past the site of the fire.
