Two men have been charged with assault after a man was seriously injured in a fall from an Auckland balcony.
The 57-year-old man suffered head injuries and broken bones and was in a critical condition in Auckland Hospital on Thursday.
The fall happened at a flat in Point England about 6.45pm on Wednesday.
Police say the two men were to appear at the Auckland District Court on Thursday on assault charges.
