The organisers of ID Dunedin Fashion Week are optimistic about its future, despite difficulties attracting a long-term principal sponsor.
The chair of ID Dunedin Fashion Incorporated, Susie Staley, says it would benefit from a cornerstone sponsor that was committed for more than just one year.
She says that that would allow the event to expand and maintain a high standard while still remaining viable.
This year's ID Dunedin Fashion Week closed on Friday night with the main show at the Dunedin Railway Station, featuring the London designer Zandra Rhodes.
